Jasminum didymum is a species of scrambling vine or low shrub. J. didymum is highly variable in leaf shape and habit and is subdivided into several subspecies based on these characteristics. J. didymum subsp. didymum, has a wide natural distribution throughout Australia and the southern pacific. The remaining subspecies are restricted to Australia. J. didymum occurs naturally in habitats from rainforests to semi-arid shrublands.
